Mine are doing the same. I’m torn between getting it fixed and waiting to just sell it. I’ve always liked Ford but new vehicles just have too much crap in it and I want to go back to simpler times.
I had mine replaced by the dealer months ago and they are a little better, but still not good. I doubt Ford will do anything more to correct this poor quality. After looking at the sewn seams and the fit up, I think it is a supplier problem that probably will not be addressed due to cost. If the supplier is forced to improve the quality, his price will probably go up.

Noooooooo Rich don't think like that. That is a beautiful looking truck from front to back.
You aint wrong about a lot of tech but most of it is really worth the safety of you and your family.

Almost 28,000 miles on my seats. Zero issues.

Ford should be ashamed of the leather they put in our Ranger Lariats. The leather seat covers on most I have seen including my truck look like some kid sewed them together. I love my truck, but as Sleepy Joe says...."Come on, man".

Overall I like it, and after being in a horrible wreck in my wife’s SUV I’m glad we had something new. However I can’t stand the poor paint, and seats on almost every new car stink, and the tech! I can't stand how it won't let me turn off the radio when I'm first getting in, or how it will turn itself on/off without my interaction.

All - I tried the heat gun method and can say it works! The key is not heat the same area, heat the entire area so all the leather shrinks. Be patient and go back and forth over the leather. DO NOT HOLD THE HEAT GUN IN THE SAME SPOT. I spent about 20 minutes on it and I am very happy with the result. I set the temp on the heat gun to 460 degrees and held it about 4 inches from the leather. Hopefully its stays this way.

**Disclaimer - I am not responsible if you screw up your leather!

So have I been incorrect in blaming my wife for the saggy seats, she has on occasion been allowed to drive my Ranger. Does sag beget sag ? I just hope she never uses this site. :frown:

Looks good. Please let us know if the shape holds or if it stretches back out.

Well I am really sad to say that after one day the sagging returned. Debating on trying the steam method next.

It's not going to go away. Try using a seat cushion. I posted a link to one in my previous post.

Those things will be uncomfortable at 1st. But it'll save your seat from sagging.

I had to do this to a leather chair I ordered for my house. Something was pressing against it and it had a indent in it so I used a blow dryer to heat the area and work it out. # years later you can not find it. I don't know if this will work for the saggy seat issue because it seems like there's to much material left and like you encountered, it will just come back once it cool off.

On a side note this is one reason I didn't order my new Bronco with leather seats. It's a $2,200 upgrade and if they're anything like these I don't feel it's worth it. Lucky mine on my Ranger still look like brand new. :)

Yea I may try one thing. If it does not help I will point it out when I bring it in for the 10000 mile oil change.

So I tried the steamed towel method. Worked until I sat in the seat this morning lol. Sagginess returned. I am over it. I'll point it out next time I am at the dealership.
