Homeliness door opener need wiring advice

There appears to be an illumination line thats VT-GY (Violet-Grey) going to the overhead console.
You were 100% correct and I thank you! i have run a wire down side pillar to the fuse box and used a add-a-circuit to a fuse that is only on with the key. Illumination is perfect and even dims with the switch as it should. THANK YOU!

Well it works great. i Would make sure you get a version 5 of homelink so it works with the new openers.
Do you happen to know wire colors for front left and right blinkers? I want to add daytime running lights and they have sequential blinkers built in. So I need to know which wires going into the headlamp housing. I could poke them all but if someone knows the colors it sure would be easier.
