Nope. Nope. Nope. All Rangers should have masculine names. But, I'll confess that I'm still trying to figure out what ‘Ol Butterscotch is. Regardless, ‘Ol Tracy (@Tracy Bowman) gets an automatic exemption.
No way is my Ranger a female.? ‘Ol Butterscotch is definitely a male. :turkey:

Truck was built yesterday, Feb. 13th at 13:00HR. :like: :clap: Now back to waiting. But at least it is waiting for delivery now.

Excited? Nah. No worst than a kid in a toy store about 2 days prior to Christmas. :turkey::dance:

Edit: Born at 02:00HR today, Feb. 14th.

Nothing like the love for a new born.
Nice! Mine just got built too, around the same time. Waiting for shipping notification now!

Good for you! Here's some shots of mine - https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/supercab-love.9914/post-489584

I wanted to ask if your window sticker has an entry like this on it - lower left corner, second line from the bottom...

Ford royally SCREWED a BUNCH of customers that ordered the Ranger Lariat by removing the LED headlights and only crediting about 12.5% of the parts costs (NO compensation for installation costs). Hopefully if you ordered the Lariat then you will get your LED headlights and fog lights with it.

And if you couldn't tell, yes, I am still FURIOUS about it.....
No! Thank goodness. Very first thing I looked at when the window sticker was available. :whew: It was a big concern of mine. But I lucked out.

Sorry you were one of the ones who did not get so lucky.

Hopefully his train knows not to try and go under a low bridge. Something else to ponder now.:eek:

It never would have occurred to me that it was something that would happen.

Having said that there is a viaduct near the University of Louisville campus that peals the top off of box trucks on a regular basis. Signs, flashing lights and hanging chains do not seem to help.

Also it happened in Memphis. That is somewhere between MI. Assembly and @Friday yet?

Hi,

When the Truck leaves to Assembly Plant and crosses into the shipping yard, Ford is paid for the vehicle... It becomes a problem for the Rail company or the Haul away company. Ford does not loose money on these kind of mishaps. That is why when we were at the Plant and found a problem...we could fix those vehicles on line and in the Plant yard, but not those on the other side of the fence in the shipping yards...We did not own the vehicles anymore.

Best,
Phil

@Friday yet? - Dont let them get to you. They know not of what they speak, Most of these guys bought their truck off the lot. No fun in that!

Our Bronco...

https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/thre...is-getting-a-new-black-ranger-crew-cab.18478/

Ordered Oct '21 for a '22 model, was then scheduled Jan 24th 2022, then bumped a week. Then the chip shortage caused another week of delay. Avoided all the delays and hurdles and was built and shipped. Lost track of it for a week and then boom! It popped up at the local yard two days ahead of schedule.

The rail tracking thing is a bit of chaos, best to talk with your dealer or if you have a really good Sales Manager, wait for him to call you. - Greatest feeling ever btw!

Excited for you and know just how you feel, Can't wait to see it!

I think the stupidity and laughter helps to make the wait a bit more bearable. Otherwise it'd be like watching a pot boil.

Besides, my wait is nothing like you Bronco guys. Glad you finally got yours!

As to rail, don't get me started. Too much experience dealing with that clusterf*** of an industry.

It'll be here when it gets here. Hopefully soon as I have two upcoming road trips for work. One I may fly... unless my Ranger gets here prior. :like: Be nice to just drive both of them. In my new truck!
