ok, thanks. When I started this thread, I was looking for experienced recommendations, but my research has lead me to this conclusion. Amazon has Mobil1 NGLI #1, so that’s probably what I’ll go with.
Amazon sells it by the pallet?

You wanna be like Diddy and his lube collection...

TW recommends #1, as far as I can see. I’ll check this out when I get to my computer and see what I can figure out. It appears the TW linked grease is discontinued as I can’t find it anywhere.
Slip yokes and splines have been running on nlgi#2 since their invention without adherent problems. Given the location and slope of a TW shaft in the ranger, heat is probably the biggest concern with #1 grease thinning and running. I would shorten the maintenance interval substantially with #1 (winter grease).

Here is the #1 link.

I didn't take you for being new around here.... But I guess I was wrong. ? ? ?
I am not sure I'd want to take my truck, much less his, above 90mph with all the... treasure... strapped to it... ?

You've clearly never been in one, that's a good thing. Bravo sir.
Not getting caught is the key... There was this one time in rural Virginia where I thought the lady was going to haul me in for "evading" when she was "following" me... But that's a story for a different time... ?

I imagine being in @Colo_Ranger truck at speed is like driving a soft top hmmwv with both the speedo and tac buried... ?

I think a lot of those didn't even come with a gauge cluster

What else did you need besides a working temp gauge?

Use what you want. I am following the advice and counsel of the company that makes the driveshaft.

Wow! Did I just say that - the guy that added LubeGard Platinum to his transmission to cure it of it's demons!?! On second thought, do whatever works for you.

Amazon had 55 gallon drums of KY jelly on prime last I looked. You could lube every shaft in your neighborhood twice over, just like Diddy.
I'm not sure KY is the reccomended lube for his shaft though... Something about thick and sticky grease is his Jam...
