I want to get a Hitch Shackle mount for my Ranger but I am having a hard time deciding on which one to get.

I want to get one in orange to go with my Saber Ranger.

I like both of these but I can’t decide which one to chose.

I like the color and the look of the A6 a bit more than the Factor 55 and it does cost less but I have seen some reviews of the color fading on the red version they have.

The Factor 55 seems to be the more popular option and the more well known Company.

Anyone have any experience with these companies?

Which one do you guys like more and for what reason.

I will also be getting an orange shackle to go with it.

I have a Factory 55 one. I've not used it as intended yet but it's a real nicely machined piece.

What about something like this one? Just the shackle is orange and the receiver is black. I bought this one for my Jeep but in red and seems to be well built.

I thought about getting that one but I really want everything to be orange.

My Ranger has the sport appearance package so my bumper is magnetic in color and I thought it would look good to have it all orange to break up the black.

I get it as I'm trying to do red accents on my Jeep and that one had a red receiver. I think it would've looked good with just a black one and probably easier to touch up black if needed..

From the two you posted I like the Agency 6. You could always add an orange shackle if you wanted later.

The Factor 55 says anodized OR powdercoated in the description.

If it is anodized, I'd go that route. The Agency 6 one says it's powdercoated.

I would prefer anodized over powdercoated. It should be a more abrasion and wear resistant finish.

A painted hitch insert is half hidden and might scrape off and rust over time, I would go with black for that part and get a color for the shackle, or paint it yourself maybe.

I put a step in mine to keep people from hitting my bumper and to step up in the bed, the factory hitch chain points will work fine for recovery.

I had a cheap red shackle one from Amazon in my hitch on my jeep, was fine for $29.
