Yep no more tailgate slamming down.Now I just have to stop people from slamming the doors.Drives me crazy.

Welcome from Tampa Bay Area. As for that DAMper thing, with my Weathertech Bumpstop in my receiver, I find it much easier to climb into the bed & then lower the tailgate from within!!! Helps getting back out with the tailgate down too.

Yeah, hi James. Ahhhh, we have sort of of a problem here. You apparently put one of the tailgate dampers on your Ranger. Mmmm, yeah, you see, we’re taking the tailgate dampers off all the Rangers now before they go out.
Did you see......the memo about this?
