Do these Ranger tunes increase allowable boost? Or is it strictly fuel and ignition mapping? Asking for a friend ?

Do these Ranger tunes increase allowable boost? Or is it strictly fuel and ignition mapping? Asking for a friend ?
I am running around 26psi currently and will probably end up near 28 when done. When I had a stock turbo we ran around 22-24 depending on the fuel.

My 2 cents - the 'perceived' increase in MAX power is confirmation bias. Unless you do before and after test on a dyno you are not going to know how much extra you are getting.
Changes in shifting is another thing with noticeable changes.

Ok so today I loaded a canned tune and immediately felt her pull harder. Lost traction in 1st and 2nd gear. Weird.
