Two brand I have found to be nice that ware not made in China are PIAA and ARB Lights. One other possibility it Stedi. They are also from Australia and on thier website give you some fair insight on what the beam pattern will be like. Woth a look at the least
Where are ARB lights manufactured? I was under the impression they were in fact Chinese based on third-party comments on here.

I've tested countless types of lights from Amazon and I've only had one fail in relative short order and in that case the vendor promptly had a new one in my hands in a few days.

We can debate where these Chinese factories ultimately come up with the knowledge to design these lights but the fact of the matter is as time goes on they are getting better and better at what they produce on their own.

The thread I link before is it good example.
Welcome Back!

ARB uses a company called IPF. They are manufactured in japan. PIAA also has their lights manufactured in japan.

hey jack is back! he would be the one to ask on decent lights at a good price.
as far as usa made id say its splitting hairs. a few brands like baja designs and rigid industries are usa assembly and sometimes mexico but they dont advertise that the guts are not usa. id bet they have china parts inside just made to whatever spec per brand.

I'd go with Designed in USA, not a problem being manufactured in China...the Chinese are more than capable of leading edge product design...look at DJI...but cheap Chinese knock offs with zero optic engineering...stay away...

It all depends on whether they are Chinese designed (stolen or knockoffs) or Chinese contracted. An American company can contract anything with China and depending on how much they are willing to spend, can make high quality products to spec, or make them really cheap cutting corners and using cheaper material. I have worked with a company that was faced with such deciding factors.
Also, surrendering your mfg designs to China to have your product made subjects them to the knockoffs.

Actually, I’m thinking about doing these for now as I don’t think I’m ready to have em up on the A pillar.

these are fairly inconspicuous and put out good light and I can always make them amber with some lamin-x film
I have considered those but went against it due to my plans before hitting the chupacabra lol. That said it would probably be fine to leave them as they are when installed. I say try them out as is first and change color if you feel its needed.

the rc stuff is not bad. they have a good warranty. for about 50 bucks you can get the forescan setup and have the bambi mode lights which is high beams and fogs, low and fogs etc. also can fiddle with other fun stuff like killing the auto stop start and touch screen skin etc.

You must have missed the post where someone change it to chupacabra
Weren't you the one who totaled a 5G against a cow on a farm field somewhere?

Just a normal 2 way road in the Rockies. It was through Farmland though. That said back to main topic on this thread

I initially read it as “crow” and not cow and wondered how that could total a car!
