Nope, not trolling. 13.8 per the truck lie-o-meter. 13.9 hand calculated over 6 months. Bumper to bumper, stop light to stop light. I granny drove it for a few weeks and was barely mid-14's. Took a 4 hour road trip and averaged about 20 MPG at 75 MPH.

Average spend on gas for this truck over the past 6 months was $513 per month. Whether you believe it or not makes no difference to me, my wallet felt it. Same commute in my 2016 F150 Platinum with the 3.5l EcoBoost was 18 MPG. Driving my wife's AWD Tiguan for that same drive was 24 MPG.

Took the Ranger in twice to the local dealer, told both times that nothing was coming up.
What gas are you filling up with?

Did a trip to the eastern sierras 300 miles averaged 16mpg with the truck bed fully loaded with heavy camping gear, 4 bikes on the bike rack 80+ mph the whole way. Commuting it'll range from 24-30 mpg. If i do some spirited driving it'll drop to 19-21 mpg.

Good for you. My wife drives a Bolt EUV 2LT and i love that little car. Perfect for us and the 2 kids. Gas is back to 6$ here in CA so her EV and charging at home 95% of the time combined with solar is a no brainer. We have my truck for longer road trips and I need it to tow my track toy (previous DD FRS) When I have a longer commute due to work or other reason I take the EUV. I understand your pain. Depending how much you drive I am getting 19.5 MPG at 6$ can hurt

Mine's been just under 17 mpg (16.7-16.9), but I pretty much only do short trips (less than 5 miles), however, I do drive like a granny. Only ever got above 18 on a 43 minute trip at 40 mph.

I'll wait to see what I get if I ever take it out for over a 100-mile trip.

But it is worse MPG than I initially expected ...
I have been seeing mileage like this too. If I do a lot of city driving, I will be in the upper 16 - low 17 mpg range. Add some highway I'll be in the 18's. Do a lot of highway, I'll be in the 19's to @ 20 mpg. My commute to work is @ 7 miles. For mpg, the Ranger does not seem to like that.

I want wheel motors making my truck go , I'm just freaking tired of drive train slop and all the clunks that go with it , power those however you have to , battery , iCE , both , neither , make it loud ? or quiet , just please make it smooth,
between the transmission, driveshaft s , slip joints and center bearings and everything else it has to move just to make my wheels turn , well its rough and clunky and the worst part of the truck for me , would jump ship in a heartbeat if something better is out there.... but there isn't, Ranger still kicks all the others butts, and pretty easily imo , and there will NEVER be a damn SuperCab EV , just to spite me most likely...

Well, EV’s have no maintenance, so I guess he will. There’s lots of sarcasm here ?
Right. They don't need maintenance, until they do. Then Wham! there goes the bank!
But I get it, EV's are the future. I'm just not ready to change. and when I do, it won't be a Tesla, or
a P/U either.
