Exactly, I took the truck for a spin and it's everything looks normal post ride. Only time will tell. Was hoping someone had similar experience but for now I'm just not gonna fuss with it anymore and leave it off.
it's not locking any piece one end hooks onto the edge of the hose and the other hooks under the clamp. Seems like a pain since id probably have to loosen the clamp to slip it back on and the area is really closed in. I just wonder how solid it was since grazing it with the towel knocked it off...

No unfortunately it happens when it's in normal mode as well. Weird thing is once it's up and running everything works fine. I've cycled between all settings without a hitch.
