Greetings all of you!
Joining the forum because I recently joined the 5th Generation group. my last vehicle was a 2003 Ranger EDGE I bought new that served me well for almost 22 years until she met her end because someone decided to turn in front of us, causing a total loss (thankfully, no injuries other than my broken heart).
Making the decision to get back into a Ranger was a no brainer. As fate would have it, I ended up with a 2020 XLT Supercrew 4x4 with 72000 miles on it. However, for good bad or otherwise, it is a RAV, so while it has a warranty that comes with it, I will have a cautious eye towards it (thought it got limoned over issues with SYNC). Still, I hope and pray this Ranger will serve me half as well as its predecessor did!
I pretty much do all the work on my cars that I can, but from appearances changing an alternator (or even the water pump) on my old 2003 was a much simpler task than what similar work would be on the 2.3 in my 2020.
I'll share pics soon, but first I need to put the running boards and tonneau cover on.

) I'm here from the VW world, still have one, but I also had a 2001 XLT Ranger that convinced me having a truck was beneficial, so when the trans started having issues, I shopped around, but no other truck checked all the boxes for me like Ford did so I got another Ranger....that also have...known trans...issues ?. I don't care, that what warranties are for, love my Ranger.
