I just bought a super cab STX model and I noticed that the owners manual mentions a fuel funnel that should be stored in one of the under seat storage bins. I guess it might be kinda necessary if I ever run out of gas have to refill from a can. Mine isn't there.

Has everyone else got their funnel? Or is the manual wrong and the truck isn't supposed to have one?

It's actually right behind the rear passengers seat. Once you pull it forward you should see it near the bottom.

I have a SuperCab too!
I went out and looked for mine.
Driverside rear underseat compartment.
All the way outboard in the compartment, under the jack.
It is mostly covered by a gray plastic sheath so you can only see the very end of the white tube sticking out.
I didn't see it at first either
Please go check and let us know.

Thanks!

I found it. It's a little smaller than I thought it would be.

The funnel is not for convenience. It is a necessity if you have a gas capless fuel fill. It holds the small fuel fill doors open while you fill. Most gas cans are unable to do this and trying to refill without will make a big mess.

It's very helpful when adding fuel additives.......duh.
For years I have modified Pro-Gard bottles for that purpose and kept one in each car! They work perfect!
Just cut the bottom right hand corner (as shown in the picture)

Me too but my usual screw on funnel didn’t work too good on the capless filler even though it’s very similar to a Pro-Guard shape.
Give it a try.

There is plenty of neck on the bottle so you can cut off the threaded part if you like.
