I am right there with you. I also have a Chevy electric Silverado reservation. I ordered both towards end day 1. Will see which one arrives first. Now the Pro model is already sold out before my first 2 minute reservation can even be ordered . I may just keep the res and see when a Pro becomes available but how Ford is treating reservation holders is beyond unreasonable IMO .
Yours is outside year round but you're also driving it and not letting it sit for months. There's a reason why people who store their vehicles for extended periods store them inside with a battery tender and not just leave them sitting frozen under a pile of snow. ?It's fine. They won't be any worse off. My cars all sit outside all year and still last more than 10 yrs. Never have ordered a new vehicle and never a clue how long they sat on a lot. Also have bought previous year models as new with no issues.
Think of it as additional extreme weather testing. If it runs and looks good when you get it, you got a good one.
I've decided to take one more run at mine, so I dropped a couple constraints. If I don't hear any good news over the next several months, not just about mine, but the Bronco in general, I'm done. The more I see the '23 Ranger, the more I likey. That's just crazy Benny! My friends wife has a day 1 order and still nothing from Ford. Meanwhile others are getting theirs with 2021 reservations.![]()
Not to be a downer but did you see the one where the guys fiancé was backing out of their driveway and it just died? He said she went to put it in D after backing out into the street and nothing, it just wouldn't move. Luckily it wasn't a main road with traffic so he had to call the flatbed and have it towed. Oh, they cant even look at until the end of March.I've decided to take one more run at mine, so I dropped a couple constraints. The bronco was transported over to the local dealership and apparently their transmission group can't look at till the end of March. So now I am stuck driving a Ford Escape loaner for the next two months.
I haven't seen that one Dave, but sadly I'm not surprised. All these little problems are beginning to be quite worrisome. And I can't understand it, because these Broncos are built by the same people that built our Rangers. To tell the truth , at this point I would just like to know my July 2020 reservation was out there somewhere . Instead I still have no clue when Ford will build it
I also have a Lightning reservation within the first couple minutes of the reveal and have not even received an invitation to order it yet . Tomorrow will be the 4th wave of invitations sent out and if i don't at least get a chance to order , Ford can shove it .
I'm >< close to being over the Bronco as well .

And the gas the factory puts in going stale and collecting moisture from the alcohol blend, amongst other parts deterioratingI hope they have a good set of jumper cables.

Good point and I didn't even think about that. I know with my Jeep it states there's 4 gallons of gas put in from the factory. There's going to be an awful lot of moisture building up in them just sitting out there. And the gas the factory puts in going stale and collecting moisture from the alcohol blend, amongst other parts deteriorating![]()
