see with a back seat I have all the storage I need. I have kids too so I have to clear it out as needed. I also got a hard trifold on offer up for $100 so that solved the locking bed storage. I can never commit to a cap because of the need to carry large items occasionally. Not too smart right now to buy any Bronco (even Raptor) with any markup. You can find them on the lots around the Detroit area right now. Yes, even Raptors at sticker price, x-plan, a-plan, whatever you want. The dealers have all elected to take stock of those that have been in production that have been ordered and not claimed 14 days after receipt of the vehicle. And it sounds like there are MANY Broncos in this situation.
As for the comments about crossover customers, I am one of them. Got the Tremor when I could not get a Bronco back in 2020. The truck pulls the teardrop fine and the bed is wonderful, but I think with the truck the big decision is to put a cap on the back or not. With no internal storage, there is no secure place to put all of your stuff that you'd want with you (tools, etc) without a cap, hard cover or lockable storage add ons....this is the reason I am looking back at the Bronco. I dont tow a big trailer and if I want to haul plywood or something big, I can still hook up a trailer.
I thought about an suv with a trailer but didn't want to deal with the headache. Like today we drove an hour from the house and on the way back decided to go to a furniture store. Well 2 night stands, a dresser, and a kitchen table later. This would have been really hard if I forgot my trailer.
