Any one else dealt with raising the drivers seat with spacers? The missus could use an extra couple of inches (hold your comments please….?) and currently has a cushion which negates the whole heated seat dealie.
I see Amazon is awash in seat spacers, but how do they work in the real world?
Any other ideas??
I would be concerned with safety issues if there were just spacers. A bracket of some sort seems safer. At the minimum longer bolts with the spacera would be a must.

The previous thread went so far off the rails it's hard to find quality info in there. ? Pun was intended.

Agreed.
I started with “I’ll make something…” which evolved into “I’ll check Amazon…” which led to “Are you kidding me? You want how much??”
I’ve come full circle to fabricating a solution in the near future.

Came across this thread... Anyone fabricate solutions? Anyone buy solutions other than what the OP shared?

PS: The original link is broken so can't even see what this thread is going about (the discussion is clear enough)... but would be fun to see the item and a photo or two of them installed... so, if got'em, post'em... thanks.

One of those 'I didn't know I needed those' posts, except I am wondering how bad I'd want them. Less pressure on the thighs, improved back comfort? I'd have to consult the significant other since she doesn't drive the truck as much or as long as I do, and what might work for me might do the opposite for her. I'm not even clear whether they should in the front or back of the front seats.

They typically go on the front of the seat to increase thigh support.

Right, there's no way to use these in the back seats. My power seats allow me to tilt the seat, I just debate in my head why to add additional tilt to the front or back legs of the seat itself.

I bought these about 3 years ago and installed them on my front seats, it works for my personal situation. I decided to give them a try since it comes with longer high grade bolts. Have not had any issues so far.
