Ouch!
That speedo will be the only thing that could possibly save me in that situation!

And funny, the speedo comment makes me think of Brian's comments on using nuts ...

Could you use the second set of unused shims on the passenger seat?
I don't see why not. Should be the same for driver seat ?

I used 1/2 inch nuts for the spacers, cost about $5 and get the exact same result.
I gotcha. Be careful though because the Seat Jacker shims are angled a certain way, I guess to keep the seat rails level. They have a certain slope to them. If the washers work for you, great!

No, they won't fit the passenger side.

Due to the uneven cut and the locator pin, the 2nd set of shims have to be used with the first pair of shims or not used at all.

At 6'2" with a 33" inseam and 180lbs the seats seem to fit me perfectly, have no issue with sliding around even off road. I could see where a much shorter or taller person might have an issue.
Heck I'm only 5'7" and 150 lbs soaking wet and I've never had a problem with these seats. Matter of fact these are the most comfy seats I've had in any of my trucks over the years.

The seats declined in quality since 2019. The 2019xl I test drove had thicker seat cushion and lower back support than my 2022 xl stx.

I'll give you my 15lbs dumbbells in exchange for your seats.

Another thing I need to add to the "list of deleted items".

Thanks but no thanks I'll keep my comfy seats and thin body. ?

I have the jackers (and mmp) but have yet to install them. Looks a little complicated right now with all the plastic trim.

I had a Kia Soul GT turbo that I was able to tilt the bottom seat cushion to my liking and I cannot with my Ranger.

The Ranger isn’t uncomfortable but could be a smidge better so I’ll try these jackers out. I do feel, like others, that I slide forward from time to time.

On my Datsun PL620, I simply unscrewed the front bolts and placed appropriate sized nuts between the rail of the seat frame and the floor, then reinstalled the bolts ... Cost??... It made a clean spot on my workbench where the nuts used to be.
Least reliable new vehicle I have ever owned (or seen)

I've owned over 25 vehicles over the years, and the seats in the Ranger are as good as any, and better than most. In any case, I've never needed to raise anything, save for Hell!

For some reason you sounded a little taller on the internet.
