Wondering if anybody has successfully installed a front hitch on their 2019+ Ranger that has Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) without having to relocate the ACC unit?

I'd like to install a minimal looking front hitch for a winch mount on my 2023 Tremor XLT, but don't want to mess with my ACC or my parking sensors.

You might get in touch with @Heavy Duty - he created a really nice front mount and someone had inquired about him building an off center version for exactly the reason you specify. I installed it and relocated my ACC (which is working fine). If he still has some kits that haven't been welded up yet, maybe he can set you up. He did a REALLY, REALLY good job on it! Highly recommended!

I've developed a hitch that will work with the acc bracket in the stock location. Those will be fitted on a few members trucks here next week. Once the fit up goes well, I'll make them for other members. It's quite the wild design to make this hitch work with the bracket in place and withstand the stress of a recovery. Stay tuned, I think you'll like it.

Curiuos... Where did you relocate the ACC sensor to? Did you just move it off-center? Any pics?

Thanks!

The hitch is offset towards the drivers side. No modifications to the truck other than trimming a piece of plastic. I'll snap a pic tonight

Yes, mine is now off center, but it still works fine - I've had no issues with it since I moved it. It is hard to see in this photo so I circled where it is now:

Here is the hitch:

And with the winch receiver mounted:

Besides the quality of the build, the other thing I like is that it is inconspicuous. I'm extremely happy with it. The only thing that would be better is if I hadn't had to relocate the ACC sensor.

@Heavy Duty when you are ready to sell one let me know. I have a daily driver that I would like to be able to use your hitch mount emergency recoveries. Thank you for your work on this design.

There is another option for a 2" hitch with no sensor relocation. The
19-23 Ford Ranger SnowSport Plow Front 2" Receiver Hitch Mount which I have for moving my trailers. It mounts lower so I can it use with a smaller trailer with 13" wheels.
Bought mine from RHR Swag and its awesome for the flexibility it gives me. I do not go offroad so no problems with ground clearance . I'm not posting this to steal a sale from a member, just providing another option.

Doesn't that require a replacement of the FX4 skid plate (if you have an FX4)?

Yes and they supply a new one which I was fine with. This option is not for everyone because it sits much lower but it works for me because I have lower trailers so the drop is not as great as the other hitch option. And no I don't go offroad so I didn't care about departure angles.

That is why options are good...... I didn't want to remove my skid plate and @Heavy Duty 's hitch option was perfect for me (well, the latest iteration is PERFECT - mine is almost perfect) :)
