Looks awesome, any chance you can take a photo that shows how far out they stick from the door opening? I'm looking at getting the same sliders but with the full top plate hoping that my gf can use it as a step (i really don't want to get a full on step...)

Shockworks are they no drill ones? I forgot. I too want to get them. They are on my truck wish list.

I do not have a picture at the moment, but my wife uses them for steps all the time, and she loves them. I tend to use them sometimes also, makes it easier to get in and out without crushing the edge of the seat. I have the full top plate.

No, I dont think you need to for the shockworks. You need to drill 24 holes for the rocky road sliders

I was looking hard at buy the Shockworx but the shipping cost was rediculous. Went with RRO and very happy (with exception on the 6 month wait) with the results. Very sturdy and they were 250 bux cheaper

The Rocky Road sliders are actual rock sliders. You can use them as a jacking point and they can take pretty brutal hits if you are crawling. They basically become an extension of the frame. I have the RR sliders so its hard for me to judge the Shockworks ones since I have never seen them in action or in person. But they are the go to sliders around here, lots of folks have them and are happy with um. I went with RR because they are local to me and I actually found a pair on my local classified brand new for 200 bucks! So win, win.

I didnā€™t want the punched steel addition cause I spend time in snow and I donā€™t want to carry around any extra.

One 1/2ā€ hole must be drilled straight up through the frame bottom on the right front.

Thats good to hear. I think my gf would appreciate the extra step, she struggles a bit with the height of the truck and I wouldn't mind the step for washing the top of the truck.
