@HoosierT Could you get a picture of the steps from the side with the door open? I'm trying to decide between these and the Rocky Road Outfitters sliders. I really like the look of these low profile sliders. Like others in this thread I personally wouldn't need the step but I'm curious if the level is so close to the floor level in the truck that even my tall-ish gf would just step right over these as well. The "tread plates" are kind of "hot and cold" for me at the moment.

I was hoping to see the difference in height directly from the side to see whether or not it would be worth it to have the "step" feature. I feel like with the angled ones like these the difference won't be very much and they might just become an annoyance having to step over them.

Yea it’s not a big difference in height BUT, I’ll tell you that for my wife and five year old, just having the stepping area extended out from the truck instead of trying to step right into the cab makes it a lot easier for them to get in. I step over them about half of the time but they are nice for being able to step up and sit down gently as to prevent sliding along the leather.

Oh man, those are great shots! I appreciate that! It definitely looks like it would be beneficial to have the step area for a lot of people. Especially after a level/lift kit install. Plus the plate design is definitely growing on me.

How long did yours take to show up? I ordered a set last week, and got a confirmation but no tracking number or anything.

It says on their page that they are generally in stock but if not it’d be no more than two weeks and to call or email to confirm availability.

I installed mine today. Very happy with them. They are very well made and the fit and finish is great. The install was very straight forward. Even the packing was top notch.

In case you’re wondering if they’ll hold the truck up. The yellow jack is only compressing the coilover. And as you can see, there isn’t any less gap from the body at the jack point. Solid as a rock.

I really do like these sliders! Will probably snag some eventually as I feel these are some of the cleanest looking on the market and i love the tight fitment! I think i would get em bare and have em powder coated to match the sport magnetic trim! I think that would go really clean on the truck! Wonder if Shrockworks would consider that as an option on their site since so many trucks do have the sport package! Might even consider the outer bar/main components in magnetic and the dimple tread plate in silver to match the skid on the front! Keep the theme of the truck with the sport package all the way around! Will have to see how funds work out though!

And don't get me wrong, I wheel good and know that the black coat is the easiest to tough up on a slider! I have a Jeep and have definitely had to use the sliders there, but for looks wise, I might consider a look like this on some of these slider!

Kinda late to the party, but I've got some questions since reading other threads on these rock sliders. Have they fixed the fitment and flexing issues others have encountered with the dimple plates added on?

2 questions for this group:

1) Have the Shrockworks ever gone back on sale?

2) Does anyone have pics of the difference between smooth vs textured?

I emailed Shrockworks and never got a reply.

@HoosierT has posted his pics above of the textured ones.

I have the smooth ones.

I'll try to grab you a pic today.
