Is this a single module that controls all windows or does each window need a unit? Does the remote key need programing to the unit?
No programming for key fob. It’s a single module. I paid around $190 with shipping form Australia. Easy install

Retired, work is a four letter word.
Not sure why all of the MAC owners are having issues, just use the included BootCamp program to install Win 10, which you can download and install for free from MS. If you don't register & pay it just adds a watermark reminder to the lower right of the screen at random times. This basically turns your MAC into a windows 10 PC, and you can dual boot from the option key at startup. I have been using it for years without issue.

Does it allow you to load the driver like it's windows?

Bootcamp is Windows and not an emulation so in short, yes. You will need to provide your own copy of Windows. When you boot, you can pic which OS to go into and either choice is a unique computer on its own, no interaction with the other. However, if you have an M1, Bootcamp is not available, Windows runs on X86 processors and not the new ARM architecture that is the M1. True, Windows does come in ARM for their Go line of devices but compatibility is suspect.

Thanks man. This is the only time I've regretted my 128 gig model MacBook. I was able to get Windows 10 working last night, but I have *very* little space.

The last few days I've gone into Forscan and got rid of the seatbelt chimes and door open with key in ignition chime, firmed up the brake pedal and changed the panic button on the fob to two presses.
Another cool one that is nice as I go to work in the dark is enabling the fog light to light up on the side you are turning. It really helps to put some light on where you are turning.
It still surprises me to see them go on and off individually as I'm turning onto streets.

Another one is enabling the gear shift indicator, and the gear you are in and/or changing to is shown on the left side of the info screen by the Tach (Dual Gauge XLT dash).
I was touching the +/- button on the shifter (while in drive) to get the gear bar to show up, but it goes away when you turn the vehicle off, and you have to do touch the Sport mode buttons again every time you start up.
When I enabled the gear indicator bar, every time I shut it off to go inside somewhere, it appeared when starting without the manual input.
Today though it wasn't showing up unless I moved the +/- switch.

I did get a fault for airbag after the second session in my truck, going to go now and see what fault it says and clear it.

Oh, and got the FordPass app on my phone and successfully started & stopped the engine, and unlocked and locked the doors from my phone.

I
what module did you go to enable the gear shift indicator to come back on after shutting off the truck?

I installed windows on a 128GB flash drive so it doesn't use my Macbook Pro memory, although I have plenty I like it separate. Whenever I want to boot into windows just plop in the flash drive and Option 'C' from startup. I only use windows for a few programs, like my Xmas light controllers, Forscan, Tuner updates and such.

I agree the fog on turn option is pretty cool.

Still wish there was a way to disable Auto stop/start while leaving Battery control Module turned on.

It's in the IPC Module, under gear shift indicator.
Weird that it stayed on for the whole day, then hasn't since.
I went back into Forscan and checked to see if it was still enabled, it is.

Really not much of an inconvenience though, to just thumb the +/- button while in drive.
I just have to get in the habit of doing it when I start up

Yeah, it has some internal memory/calculation that it uses.

I always turn it on, and it's about 50/50 whether or not it's on the next time I drive my truck, and that's without any FORScan modifications.

I just use auto stop eliminator

https://www.autostopeliminator.com/collections/ford/products/2019-ford-ranger-autostop-eliminator

When you turn off auto stop then turn off truck it will stay off when you turn truck back on. It was on of first Mods I did No need to mess with Forscan for auto stop its still cool to mess w/other stuff.

You do have to take apart the center console to gain access to switch.

Holy crap ya’ll can’t believe I waited so long to plug up to my truck and make some changes! Glad I finally did.
Only thing that was not successful was the Bronco splash screen. I chose that but I still see the same Ford emblem on the screen when it shuts down/powers up. Maybe I didn’t “write” my change when I did it? Need to get everything back out.

did you try the trick of plugging in a night light in the back?
Also is it harmful to have the BCM off for this purpose? I am just doing city driving. No towing or off road.

I don't want the start stop in the valley that I live in, there just isn't enough stop lights and they aren't real long ones.
Today I went shopping in another valley where there is a lot more traffic, seems like half of Southern California has moved there the last few years. (Prescott).
Lots of lights and longer ones, so I used the start stop some.

I like how brake pressure determines whether the engine will stop or not.
If I roll up to a light just after it turns red and you know you are going to be there for a while, mash down on the brake pedal and the engine will turn off.
If you are rolling up to a light that will soon turn green, or multiple short stops like a 4 way stop sign and you don't want the engine to turn off, apply just enough brake pressure, light touch, to keep you from creeping, and the engine will not turn off.

Any local computer savvy FORScan wizards out there that wants to make a buck, pm me.
Middle TN MJ area.
I would be glad to help you out if you wanna make the drive to Jackson. I’m a little over two hours away from you. I’ve got it all set up.
