At least Ford owns up to a recall, my experience with GM is really bad, MIL's 2015 Buick Regal, occasionally the brakes GO TO THE FLOOR you have to use your toes to get behind pedal and pull it back up, and they will work normally again. Because the car still stops when condition occurs, GM refuses to fix it as its a TSB, not a recall, but $1800 will fix it if you bring it to the dealer! Im certain if this condition occurred in a Ford product, they would have fixed it long ago as a recall.....Screw GM.
Who cares of they own up to it they need to fix the problem! We're the ones who have to suffer with all these inferior products and making arraignments to get them fixed. This has cost them Billions of dollars just over the last couple years.

GM refuses to fix it as its a TSB, not a recall,
Kind of like the 10R80 transmission that's in a couple hundred thousand trucks

Uhhhhhhhhh

- 10r80
- Focus DCT transmission
- Ranger driveline
- ranger excess oil contamination
- poor paint adherence

and that’s just what I’ve experienced with two fords that they wouldn’t fix.

Refusing to fix a brake system failure seems to be more heinous than "go" problem. We put our own "Do not drive" on the Buick after she had to slam on the brakes on the freeway and could not get the pedal back off the floor, with traffic bearing down on her from behind at 70mph. Ford DOES have a litany of issues, but they are more responsive than these shitheads at GM.

Wow - that’s ridiculous. Don’t blame you for changing brands I would have done the same thing. I did the same thing with Ford. I know most of kubotas smaller offerings are made in the US while the compact and up tractors are made in Japan - that may be why my tractor has been nice so far. I also haven’t had good luck with dealers either - but I don’t know if good dealers exist anymore.

My loader and bucket is made in the US and it is much worse in terms of QC, it’s honestly crazy the difference. The welds, paint, and fitment are much worse than the tractor welds, paint, and, fitment.

What Kioti did you end up getting?
I got the CK2620 and it was 8 grand less then a smaller Kubota LX With better quality, a quieter cab, and better dealership.

If I had that tractor and all those attachments, I’d find an excuse a reason to drive it every day!

Down mowing around the pond today with the offset flail. AC cranking, music playing, and bugs crawling all over the outside of the cab. No more sneezing from the pollen flying. At my age, I need all the comfort I can get.

I hear ya, I had my transmission on my focus go in and out on the freeway. At the end of the day I think both GM and Ford have gotten too comfortable with people accepting poor products and it will eventually bite them in the ass. I think its happening to Ford now and I believe GM is next. Ford has ridden on the F150 being the top selling truck for far to long and GM is right behind those numbers as I understand. As sad as this may sound, I think Ford and GM are gonna have to hit rock bottom before they figure it out, and I guess Ford has not hit that yet.

I've been driving Ford products for 50 years, perfect? No, far from it, but as far as major problems that left me stranded or needing a loaner.....never. Watching friends and relatives with GM, dodge, even Japanese, I'd have to say my Ford products logged more time in the parking lot at work, because THEY GOT THERE AND BACK than lots of co workers with the other big 3 and imports managed. Ford has a long way to go, but they could be a hell of a lot worse.

There's so many people here who drive around in golf carts that they even have reserved spaces at the stores and Walmart.

🤔 I wonder what they'd think if I showed up with a Kioti tractor. lol :question:o_O

I’d rather drive a tractor than a golf cart any day of the week

Up here that's normal. Planting time and nothing but tractors on the roads. Some pulling really big tillage and planting equipment. When we first moved up here all the farmers and towns had Ford trucks. About 10 years ago they switched to GM trucks, and now I see them switching to Dodge Rams. If Toyota made HD trucks, I bet Toyota would be next. They all seem to have serious problems from cost cutting lately.
