Interesting that they are giving X plan pricing?? I just went through that but my Ford dealer sold the Maverick I was going to buy out from under me. They at the time said I would get X Plan pricing. The company I work for buys 1000's of vehicles from Ford and so I dropped my Company name and they said we will give you X Plan pricing or employee pricing. LOL What a joke. I am still keeping my Ranger but was going to sell my 1999 Taco and get the Maverick. NOPE I am keeping my Taco. There sure is a lot of vehicles on there lot now. Over flowing with vehicles. Well they can keep them all. Sorry about the rant!

Employee pricing is A plan, supposedly below invoice. May be time to replace our 2014 Edge that just hit 100k.

Dlr would like that, midsize 2-row SUVs are hot right now, new or used, so Farely in his infinite wisdom discontinued them- run a CarGurus or Carvana estimate on it yours.

It is good pricing especially if you can get good interest rates and the vehicle you want. We eye balled the new Ranger Raptor so unfortunately it's excluded in the deal.

Just for the heck of it I went on the GMC website and "built" there top end raptor competition, doesn't have as many options, you have to pay extra for all kinds of stuff including tpms! The price came out the same as Ranger raptor with almost 100 less hp at a base rate plus their interest rate is 9.9-10% and I can get a RR at close to 4.5%.

Still screwing the Raptor buyers among others. Article says "we have the inventory" what they aren't saying is we can't sell these electric or hybrid vehicles among others plus our FMC interest rates are high so we will move them out a bit.
Not surprising, why would you cut sales prices on your high demand/high margin vehicles? With the economic destruction going on, they need to survive. That's in doubt for a lot of US companies now, tho I don't think its really a concern for the big OEMs

in 2004 I bought a New Ford Sport trac, I think it was $33k we got 1.5%
was 100k miles at payoff payments were $589 a month thats a lot more Do-Able than todays rates and payments!
Everyone has to buy a new one once in their life to understand why you will never do that again LOL
One year back and pay cash, or just buy the vehicle you can afFord LOL

Do your homework, some Fords were actually cheaper before the employee pricing. We just took delivery of our 2025 Explorer 3/31 (sold the Mariner, keeping the Ranger) and had $3000 in rebates, which is less than invoice. Not by much, but others like Escape are higher now.

Agree with doing your homework. Rebates, if still available, can also be applied along with employee pricing.

And no sense in cutting prices on your boutique models. Those are low volume anyway and probably not as many sitting around on lots.

Checking around, there are still 2024 models out there too. Some used as loaners with relatively low mileage. Should be able to negotiate a better deal on those than A plan. I've bought several previous model years for a good discount. Especially good deals when the model is refreshed or discontinued. Chalkenge is finding one you want.

Oh I completely see their point in not budging on the higher demand vehicles however from a consumer perspective, if someone can afford to buy them, wouldn't you want to boost your sales numbers a bit by offering a decent interest rate once in a dang while? I can pay the crazy sticker price but the high interest rates make that monthly payment a bit steep. Those who can afford the Raptors probably can't afford a Ford Gt or Benz etc.

Just out of curiosity I "built out" GMC Canyon Denali, they don't offer as much in the way of equipment or options compared to the RR that's pretty much loaded right off the bat, has alot more HP and torque. I looked for a green one in central IN and the only color that any dealer has in stock is Black. Plus the price is similar.

One more example of why we call them stealerships. Sucks.

F150 Tremor and wild track bronco wasn’t name dropped in the list of excluded ?.. my understanding is those things are pretty slick.. if priced of a ranger raptor seems like a pretty solid deal… personally I wouldn’t buy anything unless I absolutely needed too.. bunch of uncertainty.. enough for me to have changed some personal plans I thought were pretty solid… eh oh well saving money has never hurt me..
