we just cant win these days.Good octane booster can run up to $7-$8 a bottle and treats around 20 gallons or so...depending on brand/quality.
$8 bucks divided by 18 gallons is around .44 cents per gallon...
Your better off just buying premium (cost of regular plus the .44 cents per gal for the booster)
Most booster's only raise the octane by 3-4 points, so spending $8 for a bottle to raise gas from 87 to 91 would be almost the same as just buying hi-test.
Also, read your manual...Ford does NOT recommend using ANY type of additive to fuel or oil...it's just not needed.
