What do you all think of the changes to the Ford app? I don't miss the press and hold requirement to unlock, lock or start. Only 2 tabs at the bottom though to access anything.

Oh, it had a message earlier and I thought it wanted a password update. But now I open it and it is new!

LOL, I'm glad it says Soupie is parked! Otherwise, I'd get pissed if someone else was doing a dump run with it!

BUT ... they took away tire pressure and oil life?!? =(

I'm on iOS - Ford app is still the same as it's been. Looks like this is rolling out to Android first? Any iOS users have an update?

I can temporarily roll back which then opens a survey where you rate the new app and can say what you don't like, I simply mentioned missing tire pressure and oil life ...

The new app needs less data to run and I'm sure that impacts their bottom line ...

LOL, so the new app doesn't map out anything, so how the hell am I gonna get to the dump!

New app tells me where I am (which could be handy for senior moments) but I don't need to know how to get to where I am! =D

Clicking Directions launches Google Maps - I don't want that! I want to take my Ranger to the dump, not some dumb self-driving Greta-luvin' Google car! =p

YES! Old app tells Soupie how to get to the dump. =D

I have the new version on ios. When you first open it, you get the old layout. Select 'Enter New Fordpass' for the new layout. You can switch back and forth from the old to the new (restarts each time).

The new version does not work correctly for my 2018 Fusion, but seems to be OK for the 2020 Ranger (but cannot find a way to refresh the vehicle data). On the Fusion, 'Location' and 'Vehicle Health' do not function. Getting an escalation case from Ford on this issue.

***Also, just noticed no Fuel level in the new version.***

I like it a lot more, just wish the vehicle details would come back. Kinda like being able to see where my truck is located(weird I know) and tire psi/oil life.

If you have iOS, you have to select 'Location' from the main page. PSI and Oil Life, Odometer are under 'Service', then 'Vehicle Health'.

I checked Play Store and found an update for Ford Pass. I guess after that update I'll get prompted for the new UI.

Yup...Android user here. Looks good and I have all the bells and whistles.Although it's slow as hell auto starting through the app.
