I tried to check to see in my truck was locked this morning.

When I opened the app on my iPhone 12
max Pro, the "Lock", "Start" and "Unlock" buttons are no longer there? Is this a glitch, or doing I need to pay for something? Kind of Weird.

Try an Android  Ok, not helpful, but I couldn't resist. SOMEBODY would have said it.

I did just check mine (Android) and the app seems to be working fine - all 3 buttons show up. Maybe try a restart on your phone? Or reload the app and see if that remedies it.

It's happened to me on android if the app doesn't sync with the truck for a week or so. If it happens, next time I go some where I make sure the app is running and plug the phone in when I leave then the buttons are fine.
Doesn't help the my journey recording, can't get that to work even when its plugged in, but fixes the buttons.

Works fine on my iPhone 7. Aside from reinstalling the app, have you actually rebooted the phone?

I have rebooted the phone, even did a soft reset (up volume, down volume then power until apple appears)

still doesn’t work.

Is it possible that your truck is out of cell range?

All the other info, tire pressure, odometer, range to empty all work fine. It even tells me where the truck is … although I can look out my window and see it … LOL

Try kicking the left rear tire and then wiggle the antenna. Might help, might not.

I would start a chat session in the app with one of the Fordpass agents. They may have some ideas for you. They will probably ave you do a master reset though.

Also, double check the Fordpass settings in Sync 3 to be sure everything you want is turned on.

I'd like to say "I Won the War", but, I suspect I just won the battle .... the War goes marching merrily along.

To paraphrase Scotty, "The more complicated you make the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain."

Okay ... minor rant over ... LOL.

I did a soft reset of the radio ... Nada

I then connected the Ranger to my WIFI, which is something I was hesitant to do, but, what the hay. Almost immediately the "system" went into "Updating" mode.

After all that ... Nada.

I did a complete reset to factory settings (Master Reset). After reconnecting everything like it was before I lost the buttons, the buttons are back. So, I won the battle.
