Looking for opinions on the quality/fit of the stock OEM mudflaps for an XLT over WeatherTech mudflaps.

I tried using those floor liners as mudflaps. The fit was way off and they were quite big but they sure kept the mud off. ;)

Now that is a GREAT IDEA !!!!!
Bought the Husky's for the Expedition and have the OE Ford liners left over.....
Maybe re-purpose them as mud/splash guards !!!!!!!:like:

If it's an oem style bolt-on you should be fine. Where the text been known to do well for quality in general. Just be aware that any of the plastic splash splash mud flaps are prone to breakage over time

Ha! Next time I’ll put my glasses on!
I did something similar when someone posted about replacing their vinyl shift boot with leather. I recommended the Redline parking brake lever boot. 🤣

I recently had Weather Tech mud flaps installed on my truck, and I am happy with them.

Can't really answer your question, but I will add that I went with these. They look, fit and install exactly like the Ford OEM ones, but without the FORD Logo. $69 from Amazon

Back in Sept 2020 they were $45.25

I have the Ford mudflaps as well...because it has the understated logo on it.

I believe the manufacturer is the same for Ford as the Tecoom Mud Flaps sold on Amazon. I've had mine on for over 5 years and they flex the same. I've seen both and the only difference is the lack of a Ford logo, and of course the price. Even the mounting hardware is the same.

Another Tecoom owner here.

They've been installed since January 2020 and they still look like new.

Factory ordered/dlr installed OEMs. They work really well at keeping the heavier gravel debris from reaching the painted underbody and they are still flexible. I was a little skeptical at first, thinking I needed something like dump truck mudflaps, but these work great with tires that are within the wheel wells- no chipped paint after 94Kmi.
