I went ahead and ordered those you referenced. The parts guy was making the distinction between FX4 and non-FX4, not between Tremor and non-Tremor and that's where it struck me as wrong. I've seen the conversations here about Tremor flaps being different than regular trucks.

I just wanted the shorter, less conspicuous flaps for my pavement princess for now.

I went to Peoria Ford where I normally get my service done because I know they'll let me use my points. Parts guy did not inspire a lot of confidence, unfortunately.
Do you have a pic or two of yours on the truck you don't mind sharing?
I think the parts guy is confused. I used my points at Sanderson for mine.

Here's a you tube installation video:

I installed the OEM mud flaps on my truck. The instructions are clear and the install is easy. You do have to drill, but it's just into the plastic fender "flares" and you can't screw up the holes because the clips hold the mudflap in the correct position for drilling.

When I bought my 2019 Lariat, it had the mud flaps incorrectly installed already. They only had the screw but were missing the plastic fasteners and the metal clips.
I would so like to have them correctly installed as they should have been.
Does anyone know the hardware part numbers for the mudFlaps? The actual hardware and not the kit part number.
