Thanks Brandon! it was hard enough knowing it would be a '22 but now potentially a '23-'24. I don't have that much patience. lol

Like I told Jim @wanted33 in a PM for now I'll keep my order in and see what happens. I might even go out and test drive a Jeep, if I like it enough I'll take Zach (Granger Ford/Jeep) up on his offer. Then I'll send Ford a picture of it with my Bronco reservation showing cancelled. lol ?
Yeah, and who knows what sweet new vehicle will be launched in ‘23-‘24..

Let us know how that test ride goes if so, and of course take pictures :) hah, honestly you deserve to shove it in their face like so with a nice little note “thanks for screwing the small dealerships, lost my business”

There's still a small part of me that hopes Ford will do the right thing. The sad part is like most things today is money/profit driven so I'm not expecting much will come from all the customers complaints.

Ford should do the right thing and stand by their customers, they're the ones who BUY their vehicles. These large dealers can go pound sand because what are they going to do, not sell Ford products anymore? Good then all these smaller dealers will gain more sales which is a win/win in my eyes.

Never know, let’s hope they do right. But like you said, can’t count on anything anymore with money/profit driven strategies. What happen to customer service? Oh right, no one gives a darn about that anymore except for Chick Fil A. ?

Don't get me started on bad customer service, we're the king of it here! It was bad enough before the shortages now it's even worse. We're going out to dinner tonight to a place we usually get decent service. I'm hoping it's still that way because after this news I can't take much more today. ?

Well I don't think anyone owes me anything but good service shouldn't be that difficult . ?

Ford really just screwed Bronco order holders again! They put out their new allocation formula yesterday for the '22 year and it's basically screwing over every small dealership that has a Bronco reservation and rewarding big dealerships. Ford initially said the EVERY order would be filled by reservation timestamp but then the larger dealerships complained and Ford changed to an allocation system.

In other words a small town dealership like Granger Ford in IA where me and Jim @wanted33 bought ours who has 1075 orders will only get 150-220 at best filed in 2022. At this rate I'd be lucky to see mine until 2024, right in time for the next Gen Bronco!

I know I've said I'm a huge Ford fanboy but honestly Ford can go #@!& themself if this is how they're going to treat their customers and their smaller dealers. This is what they want to do going forward, a reservation based system where you have to special order your vehicle and only have limited dealer stock. I know other launches might not be as disastrous as the Bronco launch as there was a 25 year hiatus but it's still a BS move by Ford to change the rules to benefit their big time dealers instead of HONORING their original agreement. There are a lot of unhappy Bronco order holders now and I hope Ford gets an earful in the coming weeks, probably won't do any good though. Sorry for the long rant but it's not the news I wanted to hear this Saturday morning. /rant over....for now :sunglasses:
That sucks dude.

I was thinking that allocations might disrupt the Granger orders. Which is why I never moved my res.

This has been known to be a possibility though, right? This time last year I remember a big kerfuffle about allocations and dealership volume.

Regardless, it's a cluster. Guess Granger will have a bunch of new '22 to sell in '24.

It wouldn't have been an issue if Ford kept to their original deal with the timestamps. Yeah Granger is pretty much screwed in this one and my only hope is enough of their customers bail out I move up into their spot. But being a mid October reservation I would need about 80% of them to leave.

Here's a response from the owner to a question asked this morning on B6G. Prettifying sad he won't even get a '22.

Midlife Crisis said:
@Zack@Granger are you saying that a reservation time stamp of 3:00 PM on 7/16 probably will not be filled in 2022? I think I am confused.
For most dealers it will get filled. For us, probably not.

I was an early reservation holder. Not day one but early enough to beat the original cut off date (of Sept -16 or whatever it was) to get the first MY Broncos made. When I started learning about the moving cutoff date and other dates changing and how big dealers were complaining to ford about the res system, I got off that circus ride of Bronco reservations.

I am not at all surprised about this latest Bronco change.

I am at day 74 my ranger has been at the dealer waiting for a replacement for my defective axle. The 2022 wrangler order guide was released a couple days ago. Been looking at that today.

Retired, work is a four letter word.
I knew this was coming as the writing was on the wall when they changed the allocation for the 21's. This is why I used my Bronco money to pay cash for a 2021 XLT FX4 Off Road, with 10K left over for accessories. Ford has turned the Bronco launch into the cluster F**k of the decade. I called my dealer yesterday and cancelled my order, told him he now had a Badlands SAS to upsale to someone. I will take a re-look at the Bronco in 2024 if still interested.

Just an FYI brother. Ford has dropped their U.S. customer service email from their web page. Now, it's all social media contact, i.e. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook. So, G.F.'s youngin' will have a ball sending them your response. I just sent Ford a long, and strong rebuke on Facebook. I don't have much hope that it will do any good, but they can't say I didn't tell them about how I feel about this debicle. :)

Thanks for the heads up Jim. I'll write something up and send it to her, she loves this stuff. I guess time will tell.
