People long ago hated seat belts. Hmmm was thought and still have a few that believe it's more dangerous to wear it.

With that being said. Some will like the A.S.S, some wont. Follow your own choice and be done with it. Me personally, I use it. Does it save gas. Maybe a little because I'm all in town driving. Some one commuting 1 hr or so to work and not city driving.

Absolutely no value This is what I look at, I use it now, it lets me warm up truck in winter at the cost of using it other times of the year. Saved yearly NO. Now not using it and letting a turbo warm of in winter.

Yes will cost me more. I see plenty of rangers in the mid teens, MPG. They, level, put over size tires on, tune,. etc etc. Then turn around and complain of MPG. Completely Ok but again it's your preference.

Don't get butt hurt if someone thinks it was completely dumb. Maybe they are. Good luck

Broke up your prose a bit to make it easier to read, despite being overwhelmed with typos. Still not sure what you're trying to state. Thanks for your contribution at any rate. :)

There is a solution to make everyone happy and that would be if the ASS button remembered the position it was in. Like it. Leave it on. Don’t like it. Just leave it off. Having to turn it off every time you start the vehicle is a real pain to some people. There are other people who might be driving through dozens of traffic lights to work everyday and it might really help them save fuel. The default on setting is what bugs people.

An excellent solution exists. https://www.autostopeliminator.com/products/2019-ford-ranger-autostop-eliminator

I have a Auto Stop Start Eliminator which works great but don’t really need it anymore. My 2019 is a low mileage truck (2 years & 7600 miles) the battery doesn’t stay at a high enough charge for it to activate. I could probably sell it!

If it's not activating the A/S/S anymore there's a good chance your battery is on its way out. I would get the battery tested because these things just die and you'll be left stranded and it's always at the most inconvenient time.

The heated seats in cold climates are priceless. Even here in the Carolinas, we have many 30 degree mornings....
For those of us with a multitude of spinal issues those heated seats are a must have for any climate first thing in the morning! AC full blast with seat heaters on ?

I'm on my 3rd battery since new (2019) The auto shut off was my clue I had a weak battery! All replaced by Ford warranty, they must be getting some crappy batteries.

Mine died in 20 months but going through 3 is crazy. If you don’t drive a lot or out on many miles try using a maintainer. I have them on both my vehicles and so far it’s helped.

I have been dealing with short life batteries in my repair shop for 2 years. Autozone, Advance, Napa and etc.

See major car manufactures with the same problems, Hopefully it will get back to good old day. The 200.00 price tag, is way to high. Especially for the quality your getting.

Enjoy it while you can. Part of the new green deal is to make it mandatory w/o options to delete. A few manufacturers have already done this.
