That’s what I heard too. Although my A.S.S. quit working several months ago when the weather got cold and still hasn’t started working yet. Not that I’m complaining.
Sounds like you need heated seats to keep your ASS from getting too cold ?

Same here George to both the heated seats and wearing shorts year round. Matter of fact I had my heated seats on yesterday and it was 90 out. It helps when my back is sore which is often lately.
It's nice to have a built in heat pad! I refuse to have a car without them now. I know. First world problems

So what does the delete actually mean? This was posted in the "Support group for those waiting for there Ranger MY22' forum:

I was told from my dealership that the AS/S delete means we don't have the option to turn it off. It will just stay on all the time.
I think we all assumed that AS/S feature would be deleted, meaning that the engine would idle at stop all the time. That is correct, isn't it? The above post makes it seem like it would always be enabled, and we could not turn it off. (Except through a little backdoor engineering, of course. :sunglasses:)

my question is, can it be added back on to my 2022 Ranger xlt? I know some dont like it but I would like the option to be able to use it. I have read that there are changes to the as built settings in BCM, IPC and FCIM. I also added the switch. I still cannot get it to work. The switch enables/disables but i see no circle on the dash when i stop and of course it doesnt shut off. Am I missing something? I read that Ford would put it back on with in 12 months and I've not gotten anywhere with that..
