Car and driver tested towing range for rivian hummer and lightning and none went much over 100 miles and pointed out another towing drawback- having to disco the towee to charge as few charging stations are setup to accommodate. Hummer with its massive battery went furthest, rivian the lowest range.

I just read an article that 89% of the total production of Rivian Trucks/Suv's have been recalled due to quality issues/safety issues...

Wow - I love the "Expected deliveries June to December" - a whole 6 month window - I guess it is better than the YEARS wait that many Bronco owners have had though.

I had a 1st 2 minute of the reveal reservation for a Lightning Pro and after waiting 18 months for Ford to send me an invitation to order I was told I couldn't order a Pro. They had gone up almost $15k since reserving also. I would have liked a Pro for 46k then get the $7500 tax credit for my around town and drive to work truck but near 70k after taxes for a XLT is insane and I said screw it

I got a reservation soon after you did. The only thing I'll pay 70k for will have the word 'vette' in it. I too wanted the pro/XLT. As noted in the pictures, it is impossible for someone to get.
