Glad to see the F150 winning this. With all the billions Ford has invested in EV's along with the new Blue Oval City being built. I'm really looking forward to the next Gen Ranger EV (PHEV) as the F150 should pave the way for a smooth transition.

The Ford F-150 Lightning is charging into the new year as the North American Truck of the Year™. This is the latest award in the electric truck’s trophy case and marks the third straight NACTOY Truck of the Year award for Ford. It’s also the fifth NACTOY award for Ford in the past three years. Now give us some longer ranges between charges especially while towing and it'll be the perfect truck!

The F-150 Lightning is the best-selling electric truck in the U.S. since its launch in May 2022, with sales totaling 15,617, helping Ford to become the No. 2 EV automaker in the U.S. in 2022.

That's about the same as what TFL got when they did their test. They had an ICE & EV truck pulling identical travel trailers and the EV was only able to get 100 miles with only 20% charge left.

The EV Ram will have the option of an ICE generator to charge the battery when no charging stations are available. Variance on a hybrid that may solve some range issues.
