Remote start...how?

I have a 2019 ford ranger lariat with the push button on the remote but it does not start the car. Have looked all over the menu and settings. How do I get it to work?

Try hitting the lock button a couple times then holding the start button. At least that's how it is on my wife's GMC

You hit the lock button once then the remote button (directly under it) twice. Try doing it without any pause in between.

Do you have 500A or 501A? 500A does not come with remote start.

I use my iPhone, which works at a much greater distance.

Make sure Remote Start is enabled in your options menu on the left side screen in you gauge cluster.

Nope but works awesome. I got the same unit, has worked flawlessly since I put it in. Petty good range with it. Farther than that use my phone.
