This clamp made it easy to remove the compression hose clamps.

I can pop those clamps off in under 30 seconds with a small flat screwdriver! It's all in the technique. But I can't reuse them.

After reading on this forum I replaced my DPFE Sensor a couple of weeks ago. It got rid of that low speed stumble/jerking. I'm surprised what a huge difference it makes plus im.up about 4-5 MPG​

In the future, I wouldn't trust any part from Amazon. They are so rife with fake parts and knockoffs that it isn't worth dealing with them. Rockauto, a Ford dealer, or a brick and mortar store only for these kinds of parts.

No doubt. At the time I ordered, it was out of stock on rockauto.com, and even now they only have the version with the hoses attached listed (for $112).

Buy 2 or 3 of them. Shipping was the the same when I ordered several at one time. I see them as consumables.

Part # is VP41 and it doesn’t show up by application search but it’s the same sensor without hoses

I hadn't noticed as I looked at my 2020 model. I just looked in 2022 MY. It is odd indeed!

It’s probably because Standard Motor Products who is the supplier to Rock Auto lists it as fitting 2019-2021 Rangers in their catalog . They also list it fitting other Ford models too. We have a 2022 Escape PHEV that appears to have the exact same solenoid ( but has different hoses). And that’s not listed on Rock Auto or Standard Motors site either.
