hi all. I just had this stuff installed with a custom box built for the sub under the rear seat. no new speakers, just HU, Amp, sub, and interface modules. I've retained everything and more!

I was looking at different head units and went based off what was confirmed to fit and not fit at the time. I was wanting a excelon system with the maestro cables.
I'm pleased with my setup but I could have gotten all the bells and whistles you got had I just waited some.

Looks cool, can you make the vehicle on the vehicle info screen and backup camera look like a truck, or are you stuck with a sedan? Also is the D above the car showing you in drive? Can it show actual gear or just PRNDS?
On the climate screen can you select the different outlet vent locations like SYNC? Heated seats?

What are the part numbers for Maestro? I'm currently ordering parts ( amps, looking for a Sub, have Morel Maximo components to install { but I might buy something different }.

heated seats, yes, vent control yes. the seats showed up in the display after I turned them on the first time.

It's not something I would probably do since I have the B&O system, but seeing these pics there is one thing I may do..

Swap the head unit bezel out for the one installed in the XLT. Ford in their infinite wisdom put a glossy highly reflective trim bezel in the Lariat and at certain times of the day, it and the AC vent trim cause some really nasty glare. Oh it looks super nice and gives a really clean look to the interior, but I'd rather it have a frosted surface than blind me while I'm doing 70 MPH down the freeway...

Agree, the plastic chrome is the devil for reflections. I really don't understand why manufacturers think it's cool.

I have looked and so far haven't found anything. Sadly looking at the parts breakdown for it, its not just a trim bezel, but has the integrated hvac controls as well and run in the $600+ range. I might take it by a place that installs vinyl wraps and see if they have something the same color with a flat finish.
