Was not an endorsement or anything political. Just saying leaving the state might not help you.
understood - also it is what it is. We can all only do what is best for our families :)

You think mechanical problems is something to worry about? I'm pretty sure I could fake having no legs, no arms, and one eyeball and somehow get a drivers license.
I don't want to be on the road with most other drivers also, but why make it worse with a POS without brakes?

Well choosing to drive is a voluntary action. You could eliminate both risks by not being on the road.

Yes I am being facetious.

My response being silly is about as silly as thinking you can govern and regulate "negligence" out of existence. That is about as good for government budgeting as the "war on drugs".

The truth of the matter is the more government regulations you support the more you slice of your own nose to spite your face. I say this as someone who is an agent of the (local) government. We have our hands in 90% of shit we shouldn't.

And a libertarian utopia strikes me as a dystopia. ?‍♂ I don't think we can regulate negligance out of existence, but I also see fewer terrifying moving objects in states that have safety inspections.

You think you do, but that is a term called anecdotal even if your statement is factually true.

Because no one should be a proponent of government oversight because of, at best, anecdotal evidence.

But you do you. I'm under no illusion that this random conversation on the internet is going to change anything from your perspective so carry on.

Lol........

How did this tread....
Anyways, I've installed them just to see how they look.

To be honest after installing them..you dont really notice the imperfections......
However I do notice that if I remote start the truck, only half of the the LEDs turn on?
But once you unlock the vehicel or turn on the marker lights, no issues frm there....weird.

So last year I purchased the Morimoto led sidemarkers, and went from this:

To this:

So far they have worked perfectly without any issues whatsoever. They light up when the truck is running and when I unlock the doors.

Yes, they were pricey, but in my opinion they were worth it.

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
Yep. Just read this entire thread. And now here I sit asking myself "Why?" There are so many other threads I could have chosen. I don't even care about marker light change outs.
I'm laughing when I type that. Comment is picking on me, not anyone else posting in this conversation.

Such is the life of a Ranger5G member.

Retired, work is a four letter word.
Just one comment, you haven't even seen a vehicle safety inspection until you have had the TUV in Germany go over your car, I mean, you can't even have any body rust, and every single thing that is OEM MUST work. NO Modifications at all, nothing allowed to the entire drive train, exhaust, suspension. Glad I was Army as we didn't have to go thru it.

I don't mind amber lights/reflectors, so I put LED's I already had in the original housings and called it good. Plenty bright and look like... lights.
