Hey everyone,

Want to show the demand for such so that someone finds a solution. Would really love some side markers that matched the dark fender wells. At worse clear ones that could be darkened with tint and look better than orange. Not sure if it’s a driving legality issue or what but I’m surprised no ones made an after market part.

Cheers

It is a NHTSA requirement for OEM manufacturer (among a million other things). But that never bothered after market crowd lol...Legal driving issues on this mod would depends on who pulled you over and how much they want to hassle you:)

I’d be interested in a set.

I assume you mean that the marker lights would be blacked (or magnetic’d ?) out and only visible when lit?

Might be the short term remedy. Thx.
Why short term? It's a cheap solution and if you don't like it, peel it off. It looks just as good today as it did when I installed it over the summer... :like:

These should match.... sign me up if there ever is clear ones. I'll put an amber bulb or LED in it.

I plan on tinting everything that lights up. I'm going to do a light smoke tint on the headlights and fog lights, and then tint everything else darker. I'm going to try doing it myself (before I screw it up and then ultimately take it to a pro:angry:). According to the "University of YouTube", it should be easy. My biggest concern is tinting the taillights, because the lens has the dip in it, for the backup lights.:fingerscrossed:

And on the topic of the side marker mirror lights; it's too bad that there's not a way to have them come on and stay on...like the marker lights on my 2015 F-150 Raptor. But I think it would require a dual brightness bulb (low for constant on marker light, and then bright for the turn signal).

How would we go about getting a manufacturer to make these in clear? I would totally buy a set... Can we make this a sticky/group buy like we did with the tailgate assist?
