Dealership keeps bugging me about service lol

Are techs really waiting for work? It seems that when I need an appointment, it's 7-10 days out or more.

If you scroll up to my post #8, maybe that explains why some techs are lacking work.

I guess you need to have spent time as a flat rate tech to understand. Every shop has lulls now and then. Your name was on a list somewhere and apparently the dealer must need work. Just my opinion but I’ve been there.

Dealer I use has been pretty good. Expensive obviously.
Tire’s they wanted over a grand. I did a little research, settled on a brand and went the shop I always go to. Saved almost $300.00
Brakes- I’m at almost 92,000 on the originals. Dealer quoted like $600.00 just for the back brakes.
I will look around.
I’ll do the plugs and “tune up” stuff myself.
I live in an apt complex, I can’t have tires, and jacks scattered around to do brakes.
Plus I hate fooling with brakes and rotors

I remember those days. Luckily I always had access to my dad’s shop so I would just drive a few blocks and do all my stuff there.
