Does anyone know the size of the drain/fill bolts for the front and rear diffs?

It's just a 1/2" (couldve been 3/8) socket wrench if I remember correctly. At least for the rear.Does anyone know the size of the drain/fill bolts for the front and rear diffs?
Do you go back with a gasket on the cover or just use silicone?Hi Michael,
Pull the rear diff cover......
best,
Phil
I plan on doing mine at 30k to remove any break in metals then every 60k after that unless I submerge it in water. I find it hard to believe that oil or rear diff technology has improved so much that you should go 150k between changes. Used to be 30-60k. Oil is cheap and diffs definitely aren't.The diff fluid has a 150,000 mile service interval. I guess they figured most trucks will be in a junk yard before they need service.
