If he had a brain, there might have been a concussion. But then again his dad drives a Cybertruck.

You can practically hear him wailing, "Mommy!!!! The mean sledgehammer hit me!!"

Stupid phones will (literally) be the death for some. I bet that pallet jack felt good when it fell on him.

And if he survived, I'll bet he is stilled glued to it. I see drivers routinely sit at green lights and stop signs glued to the phones. I've seen them weaving all over the road as well. I don't care if they kill themselves, it's the other victims they hit that I worry for.

Yes! One thing that really pisses me off is somebody just sitting there after the light turns green. Prompting me to hit the horn. Been happening a lot lately. In Charlottesville, it's illegal to have your phone in your hand while driving. It gets enforced to a small degree.

It's happening just about everywhere now. When we were in AR just about every light there'd be someone glued to their phone and just sitting there oblivious that the light turned green and they're holding up traffic. It's even worse when it a quick left turn arrow and you're stuck waiting through another light change because of this jackass.

Exactly! Nothing burns my ass more than when someone fails to go, and when they finally do, you don't have enough time before the next red. So there you sit, fuming!

How about the people that leave a half a car length or more gap between their bumper and the stop line, so the photometer thinks there is no-one there and doesn't change the light?

Thread hijack: For the last 25-30 years, I see people stopping a good 10 ft or more before the car in front of them, and so does the car behind them, and so on (I know no 5G-ers do this😜). WHY??
The common Darwinian response is that, "Well if one of them other dweebs is distracted, I want to have a cushion between me and the car in front in case the dweeb plows into me."
UH,NO.
By creating an excessive gap, you give the dweeb less time and distance to react and stop, thus creating the potential for a crash, where there might not have been one or a less severe one had you pulled up where you should've been in the first place.

The latest one is people deliberately driving with their high beams on day and night and thus causing temporary blindness to oncoming traffic, in the name of being more visible

Truth! There was about a 30 car back up at light right near work. I was on my Harley so decided make a left, which was empty. Drove up to the vehicle at the light, who was a good car length from the sensor. Just sitting there oblivious. While I waited for my turn to go, I waved him up. He finally crept up to the sensor and traffic started flowing again.

I've just noticed it in the last 10 years or so. And they usually have a phone in their hands. Drives me crazy! 2 cars make it through the light! I've gotten to where I hit the horn and make them look up!

Oh, it's worse than that. BAMBI Mode, enabling High, Low, and Fogs on all at the same time.
Some 5gers have done it.
And 2nd: Driving in pouring rain without ANY lights on.

I run Bambi mode in my XLT 5G due to poor headlights, esp on the perimeter, But they are amber. It allows me to see where I am turning into.

I like the 4G implementation of the fog lights, a simple on / off switch. I do keep the auto dim mode active.

My CX-5 doesn't even have fogs! The only thing I wish it had. But the headlights are far superior to any vehicle that I have owned in the past. Great cut off.... and they turn left or right when you do! And the auto dim function is far superior to the Ford 5G implementation.

The bigger trucks are notorious with lights on. Looks like a Christmas tree with spotlights! And they are at their worse when towing and headlights are shining right in your eyes.

Haven't lived in Denver for 5 yrs now but when I was there numerous times drivers would do rude and often times dangerous things and if you blew the horn or made eye contact they just wave to you as if nothing happened - younger female drivers were the worst.
Was in NYC a few weeks back and you hear horns blaring and sirens wailing a lot it just part of everyday life there.
Just to add when we 1st moved to Denver in 1979 and someone did something rude it was not uncommon to hear " oh you must be from New York" . After my visit ti NYC I'd rank people there more polite than those Denver - yes Denver has changed that much in 45 yrs as has much of CO, esp along the front range . And yes I do put much of the blame of the politicians in the state who have recklessly enable and pursued growth with little planning.

If you're going to be dumb, at least strap it to the roof. Not that it would've been much better.
