Yes. Just takes a little patience, but the instructions provided are really good and detailed.
Thanks for the reply, I think I will give it a shot then.

I just bought mine and have the Ford performance tune and was wondering if the tune would be an issue?

The tune shouldn't cause an issue. When I added an upgraded intercooler to my Focus ST I actually lost boost pressure. It was explained to me that the ECU was trying to hit a specific power goal and since the temps were reduced by the intercooler it didn't need as much boost to hit its target power. Once I retuned it taking the intercooler into account boost pressure and power went up.

But I'm not sure how the ECU manages power with the stock tune so it may be different than the Focus STs.

I received my intercooler and charge pipes but no instructions. Anyone have instructions they could post on here?

Hey everybody,

With Black Friday and the holidays coming up, we wanted to get some of our products out a little early. That includes these intercooler pipes! The pre-sale is now open here: Mishimoto 2019+ Ford Ranger Intercooler Pipe Kit Pre-Sale

We'll have an R&D post on these later on, but for now here are some highlights:
  • Improves flow by 25.6% on the hot side and 16.6% on the cold side
  • Increases internal volume by 26.4% on the hot side and 13.7% on the cold side for more power potential
  • Mandrel-bent aluminum pipes eliminate restrictive bends
  • Cold-side pipe includes bung that can be drilled and tapped for a sensor or boost gauge
  • Includes Mishimoto Silicone Boots with DuraCore™ Technology

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!

I guess that is up to you. There are noticeable gains from installing new charge pipes.
I don't know if there are significant gains from this alone or not but I feel the way my truck's power comes in and can be modulated is smoother.

A custom tune is still the biggest bang for bucks. Intakes, exhaust help but with the stock turbo hardware and throttle body I think the advancements of this mod is just moving restrictions around.

Might be in the intercooler... weep hole?

Edit to add: if you had a custom tune before installing these, take it off afterwards, get another baseline file and get it to your tuner. Torrie tweaked mine.

I had to pull the tune to do some FORSCAN mods and drive the truck for a couple weeks stock code afterwards. My MPG's took a slight hit. Tune is back on, let's see if it goes back up. Haven't done a ton of mechanical changes except exhaust and the Mishi IC pipes - not sure the GFB DV+ would do anything to that and I still have the intake mods (Big Mouth + Magnum) which should help (?).
