color matching lug nuts...yay or nay?

I like it, but I'm like jeffe, going the chromeless route. I know the thread is M12x1.5, but what length and seat style are these ? Thanks !

hey, be careful of aluminum valve stem caps on the brass valve stems. they're dissimilar metals and will oxidize together.
Use a small amount of grease or anti-seize on the threads.
then you'll be ok.

on the lugnutguys.com website it really doesn't give that info. Also, there's no 2019 Ford Ranger in the vehicle dropdown menu.
i looked up the specs, and chose 2015 Ford Escape.
they are the same.
these are also the same size as the factory lugnuts, except.... the OEM ones are "capped" with a metal cap.
They have same cone angle, length and size as the OEM. i used calipers to compare the two.
The lugnut length was a guess since its not provided.
if you were to remove the cap....exact same size.

I wanted body color matching ones. they do have a few colors.
there's also a lot of other colored lug nuts out there.

It’s interesting to see you and others in the market place going away from chrome. I’m not being critical at all. I love chrome, but I’m an old fart. I was going to order the sport pkg but went with chrome and glad I did. My son bought an explorer sport in black and it looks strange to me with no chrome. But to each their own.

I would have gone with chrome bumpers as there's actual functionality there. But the rest of the chrome seemed a bit over the top for my taste.

Yeah, I agree - I actually wish the bumpers were chrome rather than painted. I think chrome holds up MUCH better than paint - but the chrome package was too much chrome for me.

That looks super sharp! I have an XL. My pickup is silver with the plain silver rims and eventually want to get your rims but in the meantime I put on black lug nuts and painted the center cap black.

I've read all the stories about the right fitment of lug nuts, contact surface area etc. Has it been determined if there is a source for black, or any color, lug nuts that are deemed to be OEM equivalent?

I think they look great. I wouldn’t mind some shiny wheels. I’m not a fan, whatsoever, of the blackout look. It seems the all black fad is finally coming to an end. Never understood the black wheel fad either. There’s no contrast. I hate my wheels and they're not even black. ?
