Picked up a coastal offroad front winch bumper with skid plate DIY kit. So far it's a decent kit. I would buy it again. Would not recommend to a novice welder as there is a lot of tweaks you have to do as you go through the process. Still need to clean it up then paint it. Gonna use Raptor liner. Check out the fitment and tell me what you think.

Mad skills - you’re right, not for novices. That looks great.

P.S. Duke cannot build this.

Just movement of the metal once its tacked or lost of grinding and refitting. How many times did you take it on and off the truck. The Coastal Offroad shop is in my back yard. I work at a Poly Teknik school. Welding department. I could Fab it up. I will at least do there side rails. I do not weld. Hands on machinist.

I've taken it off and on about 6 times

Looking good! I really like this bumper, but I have no welding skills at all, nor do I really know anyone I would trust to do it.

Awesome. Looks great, but doesn't it interfere with your adaptive cruise control and other safety features?

Hey Rob,

Beautiful job on that bumper - nice to see how it came together - you clearly spent a lot of time on this, getting it just right.

Those who buy an out-of-the-box bumper get asked, “What brand is that bumper?” and they get an answer. When you get asked (and I think that will be often), they’ll get an answer but they’ll also get a cool story to go with it. ?

ARP Bumpers are $2000 USD and up. From my side in Canada the Coastal Offroad Bumpers are in CND $. They are good value if you can weld or know someone who can weld them for a good price.
The Bumper fits great Rob ?

The value is definitely worth it if you can weld. I came in under $2000 USD for the bumper, lights, shackles and winch.

That looks great, guess I'm out of the loop on bumpers, I've usually built my own for the LJ. This might have to be a future project to think about.
