I have my front receiver kit ordered from Heavy Duty. With that underway I need to start thinking about wiring for a winch. I plan on having the winch in a cradle that will fit my front and rear 2" receiver. I'll run wire to front and rear with Anderson connectors. I'd like to control the power to the winch thru the upfitter switches that came in my tremor. I'm leaning toward warn power interrupt kit to be the go between the upfitter switch and the winch.
In this configuration, would it make sense to have 2 warn power interrupts (one for the front, one for the rear) with each having its own upfitter switch? Or does it make sense to wire both front and back to the one power interrupt? I never plan to have a winch on the front and rear at the same time.
I looked at the instructions for the warn interrupt. it comes with its own switch, but I want to use the upfitter switch. Looks like its 14awg which means 15amp. Am I on the correct path?
