Jacking up from center rear diff speeds things up greatly as you're not dealing with axle droop and having to do both sides...one lift point and you're up on two jacks...I keep it there after the support jacks are on so there's actually 3 support at the rear...

Sorry, old thread. I just wanted to share this thing I found while looking up jack points. I thought maybe that you weren't supposed to use rear diff jack point, but it seems they are just worried about the diff cover.

Oh well...I'll be using the diff to jack up the rear end till it break then...Ford should be more worried about their tranny breaking under normal use...
