I searched this topic pretty heavy before getting back into a ranger. I have two kids. One is 3 years old and the other still in a rear facing pumpkin seat. My main concern was would I be able to put both kids in the back while not having my stomach pressed against the steering wheel and my wife’s forehead against the windshield.
after buying the truck, I felt guilty because I wanted this truck so bad, I was willing to get it even though my eyes and gut told me that it would be tight with the kids in there.
I am proud to report, I can fit the rear facing pumpkin seat behind the drivers side without adjusting my driving position at all. And the front facing toddler behind the passenger seat without any seat adjustment for the wife.
We are regular sized people. I’m 5’10” 165 lbs. my wife is 5’7” 140 and smoking hot.
Hopefully this helps those doing the same search I was before buying
this truck is a viable family vehicle if need be. But why have messy children in your car or truck when your wife has one to use
