Bug deflector/hood protector

I have the AVS Aeroskin, with the 3M tape. Fits perfect and looks good. Not worried about it coming off, 3M is used for most all vehicle badging without issue.

I do like the avs look. Anybody have a pic of Aeroskin 2.0 installed on the Ranger. It has slightly different design than original

Thanks man. I can see from ur pic the fitment looks good. Raised lip is for aesthetics I guess. Does it look ok from driving seat perspective with the raised lip(while driving)

Yeah I am not a fan of the raised lip, wish it didn't have it. That's my only gripe with it. Aside from that, it looks great and has been holding up really good.

The raised lip is for deflecting bugs and small rock over your windshield and not into it.

I like the AVS Bugflector II. Looks nice, no tape, solid mounting, no drilling...attaches with fasteners into existing hood holes.

Ok, call me an ignoramus, but what are the benefits of the hood deflectors? I’ve never had one.

And while we’re clearing up my general lack of automotive accessories knowledge, what about the similar devices that go on windows?

Kinda late to the party, but I’m another fan of the AVS. I went with the matte black, without the raised part. I’m assuming this is the first gen, but there are still a few floating around out there.

For what it’s worth, with the 3M tape this thing isn’t going anywhere without putting up one hell of a fight.
