I've already clocked 40K miles on my 2020 Lariat and looks like rotors are due for replacement. Any word on original parts from Ford or there are some good aftermarket options? Not looking for top performance, mostly daily driver.

I'm a little surprised your need new rotors after only 40k miles unless they warped.

On a daily driver, my first choice would be to have them turned. Second choice would be Duralast Gold rotors; I have used them on a couple of vehicles with great success.

I upgraded my rotors from brake performance. Went with slotted rotors which helps with cooling and lower brake dust. Helps stop better with the bigger tires as well..

The best rotors I've found are Raybestos Element3. They're under $40 at Rockauto. I've run them on several cars now with no issues. They also makes pads with the same name that are really good.

I’m at about 45k on my ‘19 Lariat and am getting ready to put it up on a jack in the garage this morning for the same thing. Got some rotor warp from driving back and forth to the Appalachians for vacation trips, daily stop-n-go traffic on my commute to work, and using adaptive cruise almost all the time(I personally feel this is the biggest contributor to the warp).

I’m putting Duralast Gold’s from Autozone all around, but Autozone where I am in NC doesn’t carry any pads. Picking up some ceramics from Advance Auto Parts in a couple of minutes to get this whole ordeal underway.

In the past I have used stoptech cross drilled and slotted and ceramic pads.

Will probably use them on this truck when the time comes. I usually get anywhere from 60 to 75K on a set.

I have 800 miles on my tremor and have been looking for a performance rotor / pad set up. The only ones I can find are from power stop. . . I am surprised with how little dust the stock pads make. Does anyone know the stock pad compound ?

Most likely ceramic. They produce the least amount of dust

Lol I was wait to see if you'd chime in. ?
I modded my brake pedals with rusty nails and drive bare footed...working out great so far...70K miles and little sign of wear... ? ?

Hmm I won't think that the oem would be a ceramic compound due to cost , potential noise, and potential premature wear on rotors. . .the minimal dust sure would suggest ceramic though
