Not a bad price for them coming to you and installing it. I am 3 yrs and a few months. AS/S is still functioning fine. Last health check was good (I need to check it again). I have the onboard desulfator on it. I also have a jump pack under the rear seat.3 years/80,500 miles, day before a hurricane... It died. Lol.
Went to remote start it this morning and nothing happened. I knew what I was in for at that moment. Jumped it and drove it to my Dr appointment and in the office I sent a chat message to AAA. They came to me and replaced the battery, in the rain, for $266 plus 3% for using my card. So $270 otd. Beats going to the parts store and paying $280.
Last time a battery died on me it was at the gas pump at Sam's Club. It was early in the morning so no one was behind me. A girl wheeled out a cart with a jump pack, then I drove over to the tire and wheel department for a new battery. That was about 7 yrs on original battery on my '12 Focus.
