These tail gates are incredibly light and easy to operate. Night and day difference compared to my 95 F150. A damper would not be my first option, but I wouldn't mind one if it was installed.

Just don't get me started on push button ignition not being standard on a 2020. My 2016 Mustang is push button start for crying out loud!

It's so satisfying to hear the thud of the tailgate as I let it fall and come to a hard stop. Just pull the handle and let it rip. Thud, the bed shakes a little letting you know this is indeed a man's choice of a truck.
